三种有着新颖样式的玻璃材料新近面世。“球体玻璃”是一种三维的装饰性材料，是与其他装饰品组合用的，它具有不同大小的直径的拱形，有完全透明和定制花纹两种方式供人选择，可以安装到墙上或者物品的表面上。“裂纹玻璃”有着像是正在融化的碎冰样式的外表，通过运用不同的融化和层压技术，制造商创造出这种三层的约一英寸厚的普通或者低铁玻璃——种功能比普通玻璃更强的、半透明的、含铁量不超过200ppm（单位：百万分之一）的玻璃种类一和镜面。
