This is an extract from some scientific reports released by E. F. Guddihy,NASA,USA dealing with the moisture absorption and the behavior of ageing through hydrolysis of magnetic recording tapes made with a PET film as support coated on both sides with magnetic layers containing oxides dispersed in polyethyl- aminoformiate medium as adhesive, used in large frequency range instruments.
