摘要
湍流是由各种不同尺度、不同幅度和不同相干度的层次结构组成的.在从积分尺度到耗散尺度连续分布的每个尺度上,都存在具有最大振幅和最高相干度的结构──最强间歇结构.幅度较小的结构按照一定的层次对称关系与最强间歇结构相联系.这就是连接多尺度和多幅度脉动结构的层次结构模型(She和Leveque,Phys.Rev.Lett,1994;72,336).本文对湍流层次结构理论的内容、基本观念及其新发展进行了一些综述和讨论,希望对国内的湍流基础研究能起一定的推动作用.
Turbulence is composed of hierarchical structures of various scales, various amplitude and various degree of coherence. At all length scales ranging from the integral scale to the dissipation scale, there exist the so-called most intermittent structures, which have the largest amplitudes and the strongest coherence. Structures of smaller amplitude airs related to the most intermittent structures according to a certain symmetry relation. This is the so-called Hierarchical Structures model of turbulence(She & Leveque, Phys. Rev. Lett., 72(1994), 336). In this axticle, we describe the content, the basic concepts and some recent development of this theory, and its experimental support as well. It is hoped to contribute to the study of the fundamental processes in turbulence.
