摘要
介绍了太赫兹波的特性及其应用,从宽带、窄带两个方面归类,详细介绍了现阶段常用的几种太赫兹源,并列出了相关重要参数的计算。随着源技术的不断进步,太赫兹电磁波也将象光学和微波波段的电磁波一样,给人类社会的许多方面带来深远的影响。
Terahertz (THz) wave is also known as T-ray. It's wavelength ranging from 30 Ixm to 3000 μm, between microwave and infrared. This article describes the characteristics and applications of terahertz waves. Some common sources are also described in detail. Calculating Equations for the key parameters are given. The atmosphere attention is analyzed, which is the main factor that limits the application of THz. As the technology developes, THz wave will benefit people a lot ,just like optical and microwave.
