摘要 随着城市建设和道路建设规模的扩大,车辆日益增多,公交车辆的监控调度和合理管理已成为交通系统中的一个重要问题。公交车载GPS(全球定位系统)智能报站系统是一个建立在GPS、GIS(地理信息系统)和无线通讯手段之上,专业服务于车辆监控与调度的GPS软件平台,能够实现车辆的实时监控和科学调度,降低事故发生率。探讨了GPS车辆监控与调度系统的工作原理、结构和功能,以及为确保GPS系统正常、高效运行而应做出的制度安排。 With the expansion of urban area and road construction, the quantity of vehicles is increased. And the monitoring, dispatch and management of the buses have become an important issue for the transportation system. The Vehicle-mounted GPS ( Global Positioning System) Intelligent Bus-stop Announcement System is a software platform based on GPS, GIS (Geographic Information System) and wireless communication techniques. It is dedicated to bus monitoring and dispatch, providing real-time monitoring and scientific dispatch of buses and minimizing the accident rate. The operating principle, structure and functions of the Vehicle-mounted GPS Intelligent Bus-stop Announcement System as well as institutional arrangement for ensuring normal and effective operation of GPS are introduced.
