摘要
母语教育意义重大,而汉语母语教育却总不尽人意;知史可以通变,但以往汉语母语教育却又总夹杂在语文教育史之中,难以一窥全貌,因此,现代汉语母语教育史的集中研究就被提上日程。在分析"母语""母语教育"和"现代"三个基本概念的既有分歧的基础上,立足于教育视角,将"母语"厘定为现代汉民族共同语;"母语教育"的概念模糊源于与"语文教育""母语教学""汉语教育"的混淆;"现代"主要取其与"传统"相对之意,所以下限一直延伸到现在,而由于甲午战争失败对中国语言教育产生的巨大影响,所以上限可定在1895年。
The education of mother-tongue has of great significance, but it is always unsatisfactory. History can make us wiser, but the history of our mother-tongue education was always mixed in the history of Chinese language and literature education so that it is hard to see clearly. From the education perspective, ambiguous concept of ＂mother-tongue education＂ originates from the confusion of ＂ Chinese language and literature education＂, ＂mother-tongue teaching＂ and ＂Chinese language education＂. ＂Modern＂ is a relatively concept, so the time limit can extend now. However, the lower limit could date from 1895, because the failure of the Sino-Japanese War of 1894-1895 had the enormous impact on Chinese language education .
