摘要
《狼图腾》作为新世纪出现的动物叙事文学,以狂飙突进的方式引领了中国当代文坛。作者以对描写对象狼这种草原动物和对文学的双重真诚情感,获得了巨大成功,而叙事背后的理性思考也使得小说超出了一般动物小说的消遣娱乐层面,形成了内置的巨大的文化张力。但是,在过于密集的文化叙事中,对动物生命力张扬的同时,对暴力的过度诠释也带来了作品令人担忧的审美迷茫,给受众出了一道理性思维选择题。
As an animal fiction appearing in the new century,"Wolves Totem'stands out from the contemporary literary scene fiercely and rapidly. The author paid much emotion to the prairie animals, wolves as well as literature. On the other side, rational consideration behind narrative makes this fiction different from the ordinary animal fictions which are usually just for amusement, and gives the fiction much built-in cultural tension. Overmuch cultural narrative glorifies vitality ; however, at the same time, overmuch description of violence causes worrisome aesthetic confusion. The readers have to face a choice of rational thinking.
