兰优1972系南宁市沃德农作物研究所以自主选育的不育系兰A与优质恢复系R1972配组育成的优质晚籼弱感光组合。该组合杂种优势强,株叶型好,生育期适中,产量高,米质优,适宜在桂南稻作区作双季晚稻种植。文章介绍了兰优1972的选育经过、特征特性及栽培、制种技术。制种技术:注意确保父、母本种性;合理安排播差期,确保有效穗数;适时适量喷施"九二○";及时除杂、收割,确保种子质量。
Lanyou 1972 is a new late indiea rice hybrid combination bred at Nanning Wode Crops Research Institute by crossing sterile line Lan A as female parent and good quality restoring line 1972 as male parent. It is characterized by weak photosensitive, strong heterosis, good plant type, moderate growth period, high yield and fine grain quality, which is good for planting it as late rice in south rice growing areas of Guangxi. The article describes the breeding process and characteristics of Lanyou 1972, and techniques of its planting and seed production. Reproduction techniques, including certainty of female and male parents, number of effective panicles, arranging sowing-time interval reasonably, timely spray of gibberellic acid （GA3）, and timely harvest techniques have also been described.
