摘要
根据传统的数学教学方式造成理论脱离实际的情况，论述了高校中开展数学建模活动的必要性，以及对全面提高学生的综合素质所起的积极作用。
Due to the situation that traditional mathematics teaching method was void of reality, this paper argued that it was a necessity to start MCM activities and further argued of the positive role in fostering the comprehensive abilities of students in higher education.
