2维光子晶体波导结构的耦合特性研究

摘要 利用有限时域差分法对2维3角晶格空气缺陷及介质柱缺陷波导结构的传输特性进行研究,讨论了耦合长度和耦合间距对空气缺陷波导、缺陷介质柱半径大小等对介质柱缺陷波导耦合性能的影响.结果显示:(1)耦合长度越长、耦合间距越小,空气缺陷波导的耦合性能就越好,适当调节耦合长度和耦合间距可得到任意分光比的光耦合器;(2)缺陷介质柱的半径ra<0.1a时,随着ra的增大耦合作用明显减弱,但在0.325~0.344(a/λ)范围内,耦合波导和直接波导的透过率比值基本保持为1∶1,这对于功率分配器的研究具有一定参考价值. The transmittances of two-dimensional air-defect and rod-defect waveguides with triangular lattice are studied by using finite-difference time-domain method. The relation of the coupling length and coupling space to the coupling characteristics of air-defect waveguide couplers and the effects of the sizes of rods in the defects on the coupling characteristics of rod-defect waveguide couplers are investigated. The results show that the coupling length and coupling space both make great effects on the coupling properties of air-defect waveguide coupler; longer coupling length and shorter coupling space will lead to stronger coupling interaction. Appropriate adjusting of the coupling length and coupling space make it feasible for the couplers to achieve any coupling ratio.The coupling strength diminishes obviously with increasing of ra when the sizes of the rods in the defects are less than 0.1a;within 0.325-0.344(a/λ),the transmittance ratios of the coupling waveguide to the direct waveguide almost maintain 1:1,which provide references for studying power splitters.
