摘要
"中和"范畴的产生和发展与音乐有着密切的关系。在先秦儒家那里,因为哲学本体论的基础有"性善"和"性恶"之不同,相应的,孔孟的大传统认为"中和"具有"君子学道则爱人"义和"小人学道则易使"二义,而荀子的小传统则只具有"小人学道则易使"义,因此其发展的小传统可以涵摄于主流的大传统之下。
The origin and development of Chung-ho connects closely with music.Philosophical ontology of Pre-Qin aesthetics is differently based on good and evil personality.Accordingly,Confucius and Mencius as the main tradition think that Chung-ho includes two meanings.Xunzi as the subordinate tradition thinks that Chung-ho a single meaning.So Xunzi's tradition can be embodied by Confucius' and Mencius' tradition.
