一种用于掌纹识别的Gabor滤波器方向选取方法 被引量:2

A Method of Gabor Filter Direction Selection Using for Palmprint Recognition

摘要 根据掌纹图像的频谱特征,提出了一种自动选取Gabor滤波器方向的方法.该方法将掌纹图像的Fourier谱映射到极坐标域,分析并计算Fourier谱在角度轴上的投影峰值,从而设置Gabor滤波器的方向.实验结果表明:该方法提高了掌纹图像的识别率,且算法实现简单. Based on the spectral characteristics of palmprint images, we presented an automatic method for selecting the direction. Specifically, the Fourier spectrum of palmprint image is mapped to polar coordinates domain, then the peak of spectrum on the projection axis is analyzed and calculated, at last the direction parameters of Gabor filter is obtained. Experimental result shows that this method improve the recognition rate of palmprint images and that the algorithm is simply achieved.
