摘要
通过红外光谱(IR) 、热分析(DSC) 及熔体流动速率的测试研究了紫外光辐照对聚丙烯(PP) 的化学结构和物理性能的影响。结果表明:在紫外光辐照下PP 发生了快速光氧化,分子链中引入了COOH、C-OH、C= O 等极性基团;紫外光强为68 μW/cm2 时,辐照对PP分子量影响较小,紫外光强为130 μW/cm 2 时,辐照可引起PP 明显的光降解。进一步以辐照PP 作为玻璃纤维/PP 复合材料的界面相容剂,研究发现辐照PP对复合材料的力学性能改善作用明显。基体中掺入5 % 重量比的辐照72 h 的PP(I= 68 μW/cm2) ,复合材料的拉伸强度提高24 .1 % ,弯曲强度提高33 .8 % 。
The effect of ultraviolet irradiation on chemical structure and physical properties of polypropylene (PP) was investigated through IR、DSC and melt flow rate (MFR) measurements.The results show that polar groups such as C-OH、COOH、C=O etc are introduced to PP molecular chain by ultraviolet irradiation treatment.The influence of irradiation on the molecular weight of PP is small at I=68 μW·cm -2 , however, irradiation will result in obvious chain scission of PP at I=130 μW·cm -2 .It was found that,when irradiated PP is used as interfacial compatibilizer of glass fiber reinforced PP composites,the mechanical properties of the composites can be improved.Adding 5 wt% irradiated PP (irradiation 72 h at I=68 μW·cm -2 ) into the matrix,tensile strength and flexural strength of the composite increase by 24.1% and 33.8% respectively.
