摘要
拆版重拼导致版面组件重复使用,因而在不同页面上印出同一个文字或图形,是活字排印区别于其他印刷方式的独有工艺特征。构成活字版的里层部件,如顶木、夹条等有时会在版面上留下痕迹,也是活字印刷独有的工艺特征。凭据版面上的这些特征,可以准确、明了地鉴别活字本,还可以尽量还原古代印刷工艺,解答诸多与活字印刷有关的问题。
A unique feature of the movable-type printing is the fact that the repeated uses of the same block components to form new pages leads to the phenomena that the same characters or images appear on different pages.This is the crucial distinction between the movable-type printing and the other ways of printing.Remain of traces filling internal components of printing-block such as wooden sticks and battens is another technical feature which marks a movable-type printing.Basing on these features,movable-type books can be identified to a high certainty,which contributes to the reconstruction of traditional printing technology and to answer some questions concerning the movable-type printing.
