A feed forward residue compensation (FRC) technique is described, which improves the resolution of the traditional Nyquist rate converter by an over sampling modulator loop This technique drastically reduces the complexity of A/D converters with higher resolution, thus providing a new approach for the development of high resolution analog to digital converters
