摘要
采用光纤环形腔半导体激光器,在直接调制下,获得重复频率为1.368GHz,峰值功率3.0mW,半值全宽度(FWHM)低于100ps的超短脉冲。并从理论和实验上研究了阈值电流与波长之间的依赖关系。分析了进一步提高重复频率,降低脉冲宽度的途径。
Ultrashort pulses with a repetitive frequency of 1.368 GHz, the full width at half maximum (FWHM) of less than 100 ps and a peak power of 3.0 mW are obtained under the direct modulation of a fiber ring semiconductor laser. The wavelength dependence of threshold current is studied experimentally, and the obtained experimental results coincide with the theoretical analyses well. At the same time, the ways to improve the repetitive frequency and to decrease the pulse width are also concluded.
