构建高职高专英语教学新模式

Construction of New English teaching model in Vocational and Professional colleges

摘要 对西安欧亚学院高职学生的学习现状进行了全面调研并进行了系统的分析,提出西安欧亚学院英语授课教师目前应反思和解决的两大问题:即如何最大限度调动学生的兴趣和主观能动性去快乐地学习英语,如何能使学生的听说能力有效提高。基于美国语言学家克拉申的学习假说与建构主义学习理论,给出三大解决对策:一是注重调动学生积极的学习情感,二是创设无处不在的英语学习氛围,三是改进教师的授课方法。 This paper performs a comprehensive survey and systematic analysis of the present situation of non-English majors at Xi' an Eurasia University, and raises two questions that need English teachers to reflect and answer: how to inspire students and bring their initiatives into full play to enjoy English learning and how to improve their listening and speaking competence efficiently. According to the acquisition-learning hypothesis and the learning theory of constructivism of American linguist Krashen, the paper provides answers to the two questions: to arouse students' interests in English learning; to create a good atmosphere for English learning; to reform teaching methods.
