人们近年来围绕着马克思的市民社会理论进行了很多研究，不过，在笔者看来，这些研究尚未完全阐明这一理论的所有基本问题，因而对其作进一步研究的空间仍是敞开的。一个直接的问题是：人们在学术研究中常常相沿成习地从某个固定的理论质点出发揭示马克思市民社会理论的形象，
Marx did not discuss civil society in only one meaning.There are two main kinds of logic in his civil society theory.One is that Marx advanced the fundamental theories of historical materialism in terms of the issues of civil society,the other is that he opened up a series of issues of political philosophy.These two kinds of logic separating from each other were combined together eventually in the theoretical structure of Marx,which demonstrates the tension in Marx's theory of civil society.In terms of these two kinds of logic,we can not only obtain a full understanding of Marx's theory of civil society,discover the important information related to this theory,but also deliver different scholarly resources and ways about the discussions on civil society,historical materialism and political philosophy,which open up the contemporary values of Marx's discourse of civil society in its meeting with current manifold researches.
