Hybrid bilayer membranes supported on gold and consisting of octadecanethiol and phospholipid were fabricated through selfassembling method. Their electrical parameters are determined by electrochemical impedance spectroscopy and cyclic voltammetry. Their electrochemical behavior in Fe(CN)-3/-46 revealed that they have good insulating properties to the redox species in solution.
