摘要
索绪尔在其《普通语言学教程》中提出的语言符号任意性原则是一个内涵丰富的原则,但由于其对任意性原则的表述简单而造成了人们对任意性原则的误解,因而这一原则一直都是语言学界讨论的热点。当我们对任意性原则进行研究与讨论时,应把它界定在索绪尔的范围之内并在深度和广度上进行深入研究,只有这样才能准确把握其真正内涵。本文从能指与所指之间"没有自然联系"、"任意性"与"约定俗成"、单纯符号与合成符号这几个方面探讨索绪尔语言符号的任意性原则。
Arbitrariness principle of linguistic signs put forward by Saussure in his Course in General Linguistics has been under heated discussion.Based on the arbitrariness principle of linguistic signs,the paper puts forward its understanding and thinking from the following aspects： no natural relationship between signifier and signified,arbitrariness and establishment by usage,single signs and compound signs.
