摘要
阿奎那的创世论有着鲜明的形而上学原则。在阿奎那看来,不仅信仰肯定创世,理性也同样证明之。阿奎那把存在视为本质的现实化,一种现实活动,把本质看成事物成其所是的依据,强调存在的现实性和本质的潜在性,以及存在对于本质的优先性。同时,他坚持存在即善的原则,从分有的角度看待万物的存在、善及其与上帝的存在的关联。立足于这样的一种形而上学原则,阿奎那的创世论显然就是一种存在论。上帝的存在与本质同一,就是一种纯粹的现实活动;创造作为上帝的神圣活动,就是存在的给予。而万物之受造,就是存在的分有。在不失信仰立场而又坚持理性原则的双重诉求下,阿奎那把创世论和形而上学有机结合,构建了一个谨严的理论范式。
Aquinas' doctrine of creation is based on his metaphysics.In Aquinas' view,one's creed supports one's creation and one's reason likewise confirms it.Aquinas deems being or existence as the realization of essence and considers ensence as being what it is to be a thing.He emphasizes the reality of existence and the potentiality of essence,as well as the priority of being to ensence.He also reflects the relationship between the world and God by means of participation.Therefore,Aquinas's doctrine of creation corresponds with his ontology.God,as to its essence,is nothing but a kind of pure action.Creation,as God's divine action,is nothing but the giving of being.And the creatures,as to their existence,were created by God.As a new theoretical paradigm,Aquinas' doctrine of creation has its meaning in the history of Christian thought.
