摘要
本文利用2008年"第二次全国科技工作者状况调查"数据,通过采用倾向性得分匹配的方法,分析了科技工作者中的留学回国人员的职业发展优势。研究发现,留学回国人员比具有相同专业、学历等背景的国内培养的科技工作者具有更高的收入、更多的科研成果以及更高的工作满意度。留学回国人员在国内职业发展的成功经历会成为海外留学或工作人员在考虑回国时的参照和榜样,这种示范效应将有利于吸引更多的留学人员回流。
Using the second National Science and Technology Personnel Survey data,we analyzed career advantages of overseas returned science and technology personnel comparing with the counterpart who had the same educational level,major,gender,age,and occupation,and who were educated in domestic universities.Propensity score matching method was employed.We found that the overseas returned personnel got higher income,academic performance,and occupation satisfaction than their counterpart.Their successes in career had an example effect on the overseas personnel,and would attract more overseas personnel return.
