摘要
介绍文本信息自动分类系统ITC98（IntelligentTextClassify）的总体结构及特点，对借鉴人类文本分类方式设计的启发式编码子系统作了讨论。
The overall architecture and characteristics of intelligent text classifying system(ITC98) are introduced. Heuristic Encoding Subsystem of ITC98 designed with artificialintelligent text classifying method is described in detail.
