摘要
用H2化学吸附和丙烷氢解作为模型反应研究了Rh-CeO2/SiO2催化剂中Rh与CeO2的相互作用。结果表明,催化剂还原后,CeO2覆盖了Rh表面。以往用H2或CO化学吸附研究金属-氧化物相互作用的结果只是定性的。
A series of Rh-CeO2/SiO2 catalysts were prepared by a sol-gel method, characterized by H2 chemisorption and studied in propane hydrogenolysis It was found that there was strong interaction between Rh and CeO2 in that CeO2 partially covered Rh after reduction in H2, however, the surface converage of Rh by CeO2 reached maximum when 12% CeO2 was added in 2%Rh/SiO2 This might be due to the reason that on one hand, CeO2 tends to interact with and migrate on Rh after reduction, on the other hand, Rh tends to reduce in reduction atmosphere, so the further coverage by CeO2 was prevented The present results indicate that propane hydrogenolysis might be a suitable model reaction for the study of oxide-promoted metal catalysts
