视频车辆检测系统中一种阴影检测新算法

摘要 在基于视频的车辆检测系统中,运动目标检测是一个重要环节。而由于光照阴影的影响,检测中易产生虚假目标,或者将分离的目标连通起来,影响车辆检测的准确性。文中根据检测实际的光线照射方向,实时搜集阴影特征信息,实现了一种新型的实时阴影检测算法,取得了较好的检测效果。 Moving object detection is an important part of video-based vehicle detection. Shadows, however,tend to affect the accuracy of the detection by leading to illusive objects or illusive con- nection between separate objects. To solve the problem,this paper introduces a real-time shadow detection algorithm, which bases itself on gathering real-time characteristic information of the shadows according to the direction of illumination. The result of an experiment proves this algorithm to be effective in detection.
