摘要
本文简要地论述了计算机在林业中应用的潜力、现状、趋势及对策。随着计算机的发展,它在林业中的应用范围越来越广,已从科学计算和单项管理向系统管理方向发展。我国应采取相应对策,使计算机在林业中的应用得以迅速发展。
The article briefly introduces the. current situation and potential.of computer application in forest management, felling and transportation, timber processing industry and forest information technique. The authorconsiders that computer application is expanding from scientific calculationand single purpose management to systematic management. China now startsan upsurge of computer application. Although the scope of its applicationbecomes more and more wide, and the speed of development becomes moreand more fast, it lacks unified planning and guidance of national level,and the technical force is weak. It is suggested to fast furmulate a natio-nal de velopment plan, to vigorously train professional personnel, to deve-lop energetically the application technique of microcomputer and to establ-ish computer network.
