摘要
杉木是中国最重要的用材树种和研究最成熟的树种。作者通过对近5年的资料分析,说明了杉木研究的最新进展。文中还对杉木研究存在的问题和今后对策提出了看法。
China fir (Cunninghamia lanceolata) is one of the most impor-tant tree species for timber usage, and it has been studied the most inten- sively. The author describes the newest developments of China fir research,through analysing materials published in the recent five years (1985--1989).The researches on site types and site indexes of China fir were carried outthroughout the whole country. Evident ecological and economic benefits havebeen achieved by mixed planting of China fir and Michelia Macclurei .Fixedposition observation research of ecological system, as well as the researchon fast seedling-growing technique have all obtained gratifying achieveme-nts. It is reasonable that China fir research has attracted the attention fr-om all over the world, since, hundreds of research units from fourteen pro-vinces were engaged in the study of a single tree species, and the researchwork lasted several years, involving more than ten disciplines. The authorproposes appropriate countermeasures to solve the existing problems.
