The properties of novel inhibitor BL-628D and its application in styrene plant are introduced in this paper. The results show that the inhibitor has good fluidity at low temperature, clean-dispersion and excellent synergistic action. The inhibitor has successfully been used in the styrene plant with production capacity of 80 000 tons/a in the author＇s company.
