摘要
过去对古诗英译本的评价都反映了评论者的主观思想,达不到公正客观的希望,正所谓众口难调,不同的评论家对同一篇英译本可能持截然不同的态度。韩礼德功能语法中的语篇功能的出现为评析古诗英译提供了一个客观的理论依据。本文从语篇功能分析出发,用主位—述位系统、信息结构系统和衔接系统对唐诗《静夜思》及其三篇英译本进行分析,从而探讨语篇功能分析在古诗翻译中的可应用性。
The evaluation of the English version of Chinese poetry often representes the evaluators＇ subjective thoughts,so it＇s very hard to be 100% objective,everyone has a different perspective.Halliday＇s funcitional grammar gives us a more obejective way to evaluate Chinese poetry.The paper employs theme-rheme system,information structure system and cohesion system to analyze the three English versions of Jing Ye Si.
