摘要
数量地理学将数量方法引入了地理学研究,革新了地理学的传统研究方法。经过半个多世纪的发展,数量地理学研究的内容与应用的领域不断地扩展。在地理信息时代,数量地理学将会以地理信息系统、遥感、非线性科学等现代技术与理论的支持下,不断地发展与完善。
Quantitative Geography introduced quantitative methods into geographical research and renovated the traditional research methods of geography.Over half century of development has broadly expanded its research extents and application fields.Quantitative geography will continually advance and improved with support of modern technologies and theories such as geographic information system,remote sensing and nonlinear science in geo-information age.
