摘要
无锡人钱基博、钱基厚是一对孪生兄弟,钱基博传道授业,著述等身;钱基厚服务桑梓,从政地方。在其盛年他们在各自领域里都成就斐然好评如潮。尤其是钱基厚,"因为他始终没有离开过无锡的岗位,所以无锡人几乎没有一个不知道钱孙卿先生的"。然而当今两人的知名度却有着天壤之异,这种反差值得解读和思考。本文通过两兄弟人生之路的梳理,期望学界对地方政治家有新的认识与评价。
Qian Jibo and Qian Jihou were twin brothers in Wuxi;the former devoted himself to his edu-cation career and books,while the latter was engaged in local politics.They both gained good reputa-tions in their own fields.No one was ignorant of Qian Jihou who never left his hometown especially.However,research papers and books on Qian Jibo have been published frequently nowadays,but few people know about Qian Jihou,which is worth consideration and interpretation.This article gives a presentation and elaboration of the twins in the hope of a new appraisal and evaluation on the local poli-ticians.
