摘要
在常规水基钻井过程中,泥页岩地层一旦与水基钻井液接触,岩石便发生水化膨胀作用,岩石强度降低,井壁稳定性下降。因此,评价水化作用对泥页岩岩石强度的影响是开展泥页岩地层井壁稳定性研究的关键内容之一。大量的室内实验和现场实践证实,水化作用对泥页岩地层井壁稳定性的影响程度与泥页岩黏土矿物组分分布、钻井液体系离子类型和摩尔浓度密切相关。文章深入研究了泥页岩水化作用的微观机理,基于扩散双电层理论和范德华理论,理论模拟了水化作用对泥页岩岩石强度的影响,并与室内实验结果进行了对比分析,理论模拟结果与室内实验结果较为吻合。
In the conventional water-based drilling,when the shale formation is in contact with water-based drilling,the shale hydration occurs,the shale strength reduces significantly,the formation stability decreases and the wellbore begin to collapse.Therefore,the evaluation of the influence of shale hydration on rock strength is the one key content of the study on the wellbore stability of shale formation.Based on a large number of lab experiments and field practice,the influence of shale hydration on rock strength was related to the clay minerals、the type of ions in drilling fluid and molar concentration of ions.The micro-mechanism of shale formation hydration was studied,based on the double-layer theory and van der waals theory,the effect of shale hydration on rock strength was simulated.By contrast with the experimental results,the theoretical simulation result is in consistent with the experimental results.
