The Effect of Mn on Coloring Hot Dip Galvanization

摘要 用液温为600~420℃的Zn-0.1wt%Mn熔液浸镀08A1钢板(厚度为1.2mm),然后采用不同冷却方式(直接室温空冷,浸镀炉炉口保温60s后室温空冷,在505±5℃保温60s后室温空冷等),考察钢板试样呈色变化情况。结果表明,钢板可以呈现蓝、黄、蓝紫等色调,呈色度随浸镀和冷却条件的不同而不同。从光干涉角度探讨了彩色热镀锌的呈色机理。 08A1 steel sheets(1.2mm thickness) were hot dipped in molten Zn-0.1wt%Mn under 600~240℃ solution temperature, and then were cooled in different ways, including coolong in the air at room temperature, hold-ing at the upper part of the hot dip galvanizing furnace for 60s and then cooling in the air, and holding at 505±5℃ for90s and then cooling in the air. The results indicate that blue, yellow, and bluepurple, whose tones and deepness varied with the temperature of solution and the ways of cooling, were found in the surface of the steel sheet. Finally,the mechanism of coloring hot dip galvanization is discussed in this paper.
