摘要
翻译不仅是两种语言的切换,更是跨文化交际目的的体现。在《红楼梦》中,作者对诸多中医药现象的描述,凸显了独特的民族文化特色。以Hawkes与Yangs两种英译本为依据,植入接受美学理论,从中医中药文化涵盖的四个层面出发,探讨译者应当如何发挥主体意识和创造性,在中医药文化英译过程中对潜在的读者"期待视野"进行预测,选择相适应的翻译策略,以期最终实现作者、译者、读者之间的"视阈融合"。
Translation is not only switches the two languages, but also reflects the purpose of cross-cultural communication. But in one of the four Chinese classical masterpieces .4 Dream of Red Mansions, the various words of Traditional Chinese Medicine are described by writer in a large, highlighting the unique national cultural characteristics. Therefore, this paper takes Hawkes＇ and Yangs＇ English versions as comparative analysis＇s material in the perspective of Aesthetics of Reception, and discusses how the translator should play the main body consciousness and the creativity, forecast ＂horizon of expectations＂ of the potential readers and select the suitable translation strategies in the translation process to realize ＂fusion of horizons＂ among the author - translator - readers finally.
