A Probe into the Implementation and Impact of "Teach for America" Project

摘要 "为美国而教"(TFA)是美国民间发起的一项旨在消除美国教育不平等现状的教育计划,该计划吸纳、培养并派遣高校优秀应届毕业生从事针对弱势群体子女为期两年的教学工作。近20年来,"为美国而教"计划已发展成为一项成功的教育运动,它不仅开辟了教师教育的新途径,而且一定程度上改善了美国教育不平等的现状,提高了美国公共教育的质量。 "Teach for America" (TFA) is an educational project proposed by American non-governmental organizations, aiming at eliminating the imparity of American education. The project absorbs, cultivates and sends excellent graduates to teach the children in weak families for two years. In recent twenty years, TFA has become a successful educational movement, which has provided a new approach for teacher education, and also has improved the current situation of the imparity of American education and enhanced the quality of American public education.
