摘要
石林喀斯特是喀斯特发育演化的一种极端形式，是以高大石柱和深切溶沟相组合为特征的一种特殊地貌类形．路南石林自早二叠世晚期以来，由于有利的地质、气候、水文条件的结合，先后经历了四期继承性的演化发育，形成了在世界上演化历史悠久，形态最为丰富多样的石林喀斯特景观．
Stone forest karst,a special type of landform characterized by spectacular stone columns and deep karrens,is an extreme form of karstification.The Lunan Stone Forest has experienced four stages of development under favorable geological,climatic,and hydrological conditions,forming the most diversified stone forest karst landscape in the world.
