摘要
传统阅读认为《永别了,武器》中的男主人公亨利是典型的海明威式硬汉,而女主人公凯瑟琳是男主人公孤单的慰藉品,是展现"硬汉子"人物的辅助物。文章从生态女权角度重新解读海明威的《永别了,武器》这部作品,重新分析文中大自然﹑男主人公﹑女主人公这三者的关系,从而体现海明威的相互关联和相互关爱的社会伦理意识,及其对女人和男人、人类社会和自然之间关系的关注,证明海明威是一位具有生态女权意识的男作家。
In the classic reading of A Farewell to Arms,it is generally believed that the hero Henry is Hemingway’s typical hero,while the heroine Catherine is served to console the lonely hero and to manifest his masculinity. The work of A Farewell to Arms is reexamined from an ecofeminist perspective to better understand the relationship among nature,the hero and the heroine. Hemingway’s social ethic sense of interconnection and mutual caring is discussed along with his concern about the relationship between man and woman,human society and nature. It is demonstrated that Hemingway is a man writer with ecofeminist consciousness.
