The Aesthetic Education In the Age of Mass Media

摘要 21世纪是大众传媒快速发展的时期。大众传媒时代,媒介的发展是一把"双刃剑",一方面,它推动民主化,提高认知水平,为大众提供娱乐;一方面,又有使大众陷入丧失创新、浅阅读、媚俗等弊端。大众传媒时代的审美教育既要充分利用媒介的优势重塑自身,为自己争得更好更大的发展空间;也要利用自身的优势改善媒介环境,使生活于其中的人们都能更健康地生活,都有机会使自己实现自由而全面的发展。 The 21st century is a period during which the mass media will develop rapidly. The mass media is a double - edged sword in that it can promote democratization, improve cognitive ability and pro- vide entertainments for people, meanwhile, it also cultivates some had habits, like the lack of creativity, superficial reading and kitsch, etc. The aesthetic education of the mass media should reshaped their good image through making full use of their own advantages so as to make more developing space for them- selves. At the same time, the aesthetic education has the responsibility to better media environment in order to make people live healthily and freely.
