Feng Xiaogang’s works of Aftershocks which commemorates the 34th anniversary Tangshan earthquake happened in 1976. The movie subverts grand occasion which past important history movies often use and reach a new breakthrough on aesthetics of national disaster movie. It’s success brings new enlightenment in development of national disaster movie.
