摘要
接受理论是从读者角度来研究文学作品的文学批评理论。将接受理论应用到文学翻译研究中不仅提高了读者和译者的地位,而且对读者和译者的研究起到了很好的指导作用。本文从接受理论的角度分析了翻译家朱生豪的期待视野及其翻译思想,解释了朱生豪选择《莎士比亚戏剧全集》、译《莎》的动力和朱译本受读者欢迎的原因。
Reception theory is a theory of literary criticism that studies literary works from the perspective of the reader.The application of reception theory to the literature translation study has promoted the status of readers and translators,which is also a good guidance for the research of readers and translators.The paper has analyzed the horizon of expectation of translator Zhu Shenghao and his translation thoughts and interpreted the reasons of his choice of The Complete Plays of Shakespeare, the motivation of his translating it and the popularity of his Chinese version by readers.
