摘要
Seminar教学范式是欧美大学教学的重要形式。在我国,Seminar教学范式在高职高专教育领域的关注和运用得很少。文章简要介绍了Seminar教学范式的起源及在国外大学的应用,讨论了在高职高专英语教学中运用Seminar教学范式的必要性,且介绍了作者在专业英语精读教学实践中使用Seminar教学范式的具体步骤,以及这种教学范式带来的积极效果与存在的问题。
Seminar is an important teaching model in American and European universities. In our country, Seminar is seldom used in colleges＇teaching. This essay briefly introduces the origin of Seminar and its application in western countries, and discusses the necessity of using Seminar in college English teaching, and then the paper introduces how Seminar model is put into use in English Intensive Reading course. In the last part, it expounds the teaching effect of using Seminar and the problems existed.
