摘要
原赤泥强度低,工程上已很少应用。现研究表明,它含有18种胶结力极强的化合物,针对该特点,提出用析水、脱水和加CaO的改造对策,增强了赤泥的强度,工程性能得到显著的改善。用赤泥筑坝,坝高可增加2~3倍,还可用于地基补强、做强防渗层以及铺筑路面等。
Previously, the red mud is considered to be of low strength and is thus seldom utilized in engineering projects. The present study manifests that the red mud contains 18 kinds of chemical compounds with very strong cementing forces. Aiming at this characteristic, the paper suggests to adopt the transformation countermeasures of water separation, dehydra tion and adding of CaO, so as to enhance its strength and improve evidently its engineering properties. When the red mud is used to build dams, the dam height can be increased to 2-3 times. Also, it may be used to strengthen the foundation soil, to build the anti-seepage layer as well as the road pavement etc.
