摘要
三峡工程二期围堰是兴建河床建筑物的根本保证，也是工程的关键技术项目。为此在工程实施前及施工中，对围堰填料的性质、防渗材料性质、堰基粉细砂和覆盖层的特性及施工方法等都进行了大量的科学研究工作，解决了关键性的问题，得到了相当高水平的成果。
The second - phase cofferdam is the foundational insurance for the construction ofstructures arranged on the river bed, and also one of the key technical items. Before and during con-struction of the cofferdam, the properties of materials for cofferdam and cut -of f wall, characteris-tics of silty sand and overburden where the cofferdam rests on, and construction methods were stud-ied extensively. Those key problems have been resolved and satisfactory results obtained.
