摘要
运用《外语课堂学习焦虑量表》和《中学生英语学习动机问卷》对153名初一学生英语课堂焦虑和英语学习动机及其相关性进行了考察。结果发现:(1)初中生英语课堂焦虑存在性别差异,男生的考试焦虑水平显著高于女生的考试焦虑水平;(2)在英语学习动机上也存在性别差异,男生的内在动机水平显著低于女生的内在动机水平;(3)初中生英语学习动机与课堂焦虑显著负相关。研究结果表明,可以通过提高初中生英语学习动机降低课堂焦虑。
By applying the ＂Foreign Language Classroom Anxiety Scale＂ and the ＂Junior High School Students English Learning Motivation Questionnaire＂ to 153 first-grade junior high school students, the investigation explores the English classroom anxiety and the English learning motivation of junior high school students, and the correlation between the two. The results show that： （1） there is a significant gender difference in the English classroom anxiety of junior highschool students, which is reflected in the test anxiety dimension in which the score of the male students is higher than that of the female students; （2） there is also a significant gender difference in the English learning motivation, which is reflected in the internal motivation dimension in which the score of the male students is lower than that of the female students; （3） there is a significant negative correlation between the English classroom anxiety and the English learning motivation of junior high school students. These findings suggest that the English classroom anxiety of junior high school students can be reduced by enhancing their learning motivation.
