摘要
本文以掺铒光纤放大器（ＥＤＦＡ）为例，介绍了光放大技术的原理和ＥＤＦＡ的结构、特性、种类及其应用，并提出了ＥＤＦＡ器件存在的不足和研究动向。
The article introduces the principles of optical amplification technigue of EDFA,its architecture ,characteristics,types and applications,as well as existing problems and reseach activities in the EDFA.
