摘要
幽默言语翻译是一种跨语际的阐释性运用,如果其效度越高则制笑效果就越好。关联导向下的语用推理只是理解言语的总体原则,没有演示概念映射与整合的具体过程。从情景喜剧《老友记》中幽默言语的翻译分析入手,探索幽默言语制笑效果的具体产生过程。结果发现幽默是语境假设在概念整合过程中,经历组合、完善和更新后形成新显结构时,与新信息相互加强、矛盾或结合产生的。所以推理和整合结合起来对幽默言语的翻译具有更强的解释力。
Verbal humor translation （VHT） with higher validity causing better effects is an interlingual interpretive use. Pragmatic inference with guidance of relevance is just a universal principle but not＇a specific process of conceptual mappings and blending. This paper explores certain process of verbal humor effects （VHE） by analyses on VHT in comic serials ＂Friends＂. The study digs out how VHE produce is that contextual assumptions in blending procedures of composition, completion and elaboration with emergent structure and new utterances by the way of enforcement, conflict or combination meet each other. Hence inference and blending have more explanatory power when they are combined.
