摘要 计算流体力学(Computational Fluid Dynamics,简称CFD)是20世纪60年代起伴随计算机技术迅速崛起的学科。经过半个世纪的迅猛发展,这门学科己相当成熟,各种CFD通用性软件包陆续出现,成为商品化软件,为工业界广泛接受,性能日趋完善,应用范围不断扩大。至今,CFD技术的应用早己超越传统的流体力学和流体工程的范畴,如航空、航天、船舶、动力、水利等,而扩展到化工、核能、冶金、建筑、环境等许多相关领域中去了。STAR-CCM+作为其中杰出的一员,以其简易的操作界面,强大的网格生成技术,最新的数值算法而引领着CFD软件的潮流。STAR-CCM+采用了服务用户的系统,能够实时监控计算中的结果数据(矢量、标量及统计结果图表),工程师还可将任意分析参数(流量、力、温度等)作为计算收敛条件来使用,STAR-CCM+紧扣10亿左右网格的大规模分析为目标,不仅在解算器方面,而且在前后处理器方面也实现了并行化,用户只需在界面上指定机器名和CPU数,就可以全面实现并行处理。 Computational Fluid Dynamics(CFD) is a rapid rise disciplines with the computer technology.After half a century of rapid development,this disciplines has been very mature.With the various CFD packages being pushed out and being commercial softwares,it has been widely accepted by industry.And its performance is more and more consummate,and its application range is more and more expanded.So far,the applications of CFD technology have been beyond the area of traditional fluid mechanics and fluid engineering,such as aviation,aerospace,shipbuilding,dynamical,water onservancy,etc.but extended to the chemical,nuclear,metallurgical,construction,environment and othes related areas.As one of outstanding member,STAR-CCM+ leads the trend of CFD software with its simple interface,powerful mesh generation technology,and the latest numerical algorithms.STAR-CCM+ adopts C/S system to monitor the data in computing in time(vector,scalar and statistics chart).Engineers can use any analyzed parameters(flow,force,temperature,ect.) to be calculated convergence conditions.As the goal,STAR-CCM+ is closely around the large-scale analysis of 1 billion grids.Not only in the solver,but also in the pro-process and behind-process,STAR-CCM+ has achieved in a parallel.Users only need to specify the machine name and the CPU number in interface,and can realize parallel processing generally.
