Objective\ To study the practical value of different lung biopsy in diagnosis of lung mass shadows.Method 157 patients with lung mass shadow were divided into three groups,centre,peripheral and the rest group.X-ray or CT-guided lung biopsy was given to the patients who had been pathologically negative by bronchofiberscope examination.The high positive rates in centre group was obtained by bronchofiberscope(67.19%).X-ray guided lung biopsy with rates 10.71% of pneumothorax was more suitable for the peripherial group,especially for the patients with lung mass diameter over 3cm、With pneumothorax rate 15.52%,the positive rate of CT-guided lung biopsy was 94.83% and all the patient's mass diameter were less than 4cm and near heart or large vesseles.Conclusion It is suggested that the patient whose lung mass diameter is over 3cm and near to parietal pleura(<3cm) should be examined by X-ray guided lung biopsy.CT-guided lung biopsy must be given to the patient with lung mass diameter less than 3cm and distal to parietal pleura or near to heart and large vesseles.
