摘要
DM642是专门为多媒体应用开发的DSP,在多媒体应用中,图像和视频的显示必不可少,随着液晶技术的发展,TFT-LCD逐渐成为构造多媒体平台的理想器件。本文提出了一种用DM642 Video Port口直驱TFT-LCD的方案;介绍了Video Port口的结构和工作方式,给出了产生实现液晶显示控制信号的配置方法。实验表明,该方案可以驱动不同分辨率的TFT-LCD,并且能够实现实时视频显示,有较强的通用性和实用价值。
DM642 is designed for multimedia applications, in which the display of image and video is indispensible. With the development of the LCD technology, TFT -LCD has become an excellent choice for multimedia applications. A method of interfacing a TFT-LCD directly to the DM642 Video Port is proposed in this article. The architecture and operation mode of the Video Port is introduced, and its configuration to generate the control signal for the LCD display is given. Test results demonstrate that this method can carry out real time video display on various TFT-LCD with different resolutions.
