摘要
社会信息化的发展、人才市场竞争加剧使图书情报教育面临挑战,必须通过改革创新以适应发展的需要。在调研的基础上,总结、分析北美图书情报教育发展的新动向,涉及培养目标的提升,教育层次的多样化,模块化的课程体系,开展面向广泛领域的科研以促进教学发展以及重视开展实践性教学、加强学生综合能力培养等方面。目的是为我国图书情报教育改革创新提供借鉴。
The development of information society and the competition of human resources market have posed challenges for the library and information education. Therefore, reform and innovation are necessary to adapt to the new demands. This paper analyses the new development of library and information education in North America. It discusses the following topics ： the advance of training tar- gets, the diversity in training levels, modularization of the curriculum system, research of relevant information issues covering a wide range of fields to enrich the teaching, emphasis on practical training, as well as enhancement of the comprehensive abilities of students. The purpose of the paper is to provide references for reform and innovation of the Chinese library and information education.
